£180m boost for Belfast Health and Social Care Trust

Plans to invest £180million in capital over the next three years to improve health and social care services and facilities in the Belfast Trust area have been announced.

It is part of a total planned investment of £580million over the next decade with new developments and an upgrade of existing services taking place across a range of primary, secondary and community care areas. Included is the new regional Mental Health Facility for Adolescents and Children and Families at Forster Green Hospital in Belfast and the Health and Care Centre for the Castlereagh area.
