2e2 goes into administration

30th January 2013

IT services supplier 2e2 has gone into administration.

The situation leaves a number of NHS trusts, including Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, facing an uncertain future from an IT perspective after the systems integrator placed 10 of its UK companies into administration. This has also left a number of NHS staff, who transferred to 2e2 under TUPE arrangements, now facing the threat of redundancy. A spokesman for the Sussex trust said it was working with 2e2 and the administrators to ensure service continuity on its IT programme.
