60 NHS management jobs to go
8th September 2010A further 60 health managers and administrators in Durham are facing the prospect of losing their jobs in the latest round of NHS cuts.
The move by the County Durham and Darlington Trust is on top of existing plans to shed 110 jobs. Most of the latest job cuts are in community health management posts as part of a drive to save £4m by next April. The trust has launched a one-month consultation during which it will ask for volunteers for redundancy.
