Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has joined West Midlands Ambulance Serivce to invest more than £100,000 in equipment and vehicles desinged to carry obese or morbidly obese patients. Vehicles have been adapted, at a cost of £10,500 each, to meet the needs of paitnets who weigh more than 19 stone.
