Alsheimer's patients in plea for 'stay of execution'

Alzeheimer's sufferss yeaterday urged the courts to lift the block to getting drugs on the NHS which gave them a "stay of execution . Helped by their carers they came to the High Court for the judcial review of a ruling by the Government's medicine watchdog, NICE, which has decided not to continue funding anti demantia drugs on the NHS for patinets in the early stages of Alzeheimer's disease.
