App explosion predicted in primary care

13th April 2012

Primary care is set to experience a surge in cloud-based and app technology in the coming years, according to an IT specialist.

Dr David Jehring is chief executive of Black Pear Software but trained as a GP and has been developing primary care software for 25 years. He will be sharing his thoughts at the Primary Health Info Conference 2012 running from April 23-25 in Warwick and suggests the move towards more cloud-based and app-based delivery of IT services willbe driven by the financial incentive to push more care out into the community.
