BAMM ceases trading

17th June 2010

The British Association of Medical Managers has ceased trading just days before its annual conference.

Delegates for the £1,000 a head conference in Brighton, which was to be addressed by NHS chief executive Sir David Nicholson, were informed by e-mail of the cancellation and callers to the BAMM office in Stockport received an answer phone message saying the company was no longer trading. Chief executive Jenny Simpson said the board had decided to temporarily cease trading “with the utmost and heartfelt regret” while it examined its options.
