BigHand implemented at Leeds and York

12th February 2013

The mental health trust for Leeds and York is putting into place a new digital dictation system to replace old analogue equipment.

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has chosen BigHand to supply the system. Consultant psychiatrist Dr Nick Venters commented: "It’s hoped that the new system will reduce delays in correspondence, which is a major concern to patients, clinicians and commissioners. Our aim was to seek a simple process that would be readily understood by clinical staff used to dictating with analogue tapes."
