Binge-drinking ads launch17th June 2008
The Home Office has launched a hard-hitting £4 million advertising campaign to show the dangers of binge-drinking, aimed at the 18-24 year old age group.
The advertisements show young people ripping their clothes, being violent and injuring themselves and asks "You wouldn't start a night like this, so why end it that way?" Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said the campaign would "challenge people to think twice about the serious consequences of losing control".
