BMA to help set fees for non-NHS work

The British Medical Association is investigating a calculator which would help GPs to set charges for private work.

The BMA have posted a video on YouTube where their chairman Dr John Canning is seen explaining the ideas. He talks about working out the correct charges in the video and says: "It's a combination of two things: What is a market rate? And how much profit [do] you expect to have?"
