Brain continues to be active while we sleep

12th September 2014

Scientists find people are still able to classify words during their sleep.

Writing in the journal Current Biology, the research team studied the brain's behaviour while awake and while asleep.

A word test was introduced while the participants were awake and the researchers found they continued to respond correctly while asleep.

Further research will now focus on how to take advantage of sleeping time.

I am afraid the research team`s finding are a bit too late. Sages all over the world have known what the Research Team has found now viz., our brain DOES NOT sleep while we sleep. Their research will "now focus on how to take advantage of sleeping time". Good, but have they really taken full advantage of the waking time?
