Breast screening digitalised at Barking

Sectra to implement a new breast imaging PACS to replace Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust's film based system.

The trust's general manager of radiology said Sectra was chosen because of the trust's tight schedule to produce its first digital image and that the system is 'intuitive' and 'easy-to-use'. He also said it will 'improve throughput and reporting time'.
