Brighton deploys cloud with Microsoft

30th May 2012

Microsoft’s Hyper-V private cloud platform has been deployed by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver unified communication and collaboration across its IT estate.

Under the plan, the trust is moving away from its existing shared service model to a private cloud-based approach, which will also support an ambitious IT strategy to help it secure foundation status. The trust has said that the cloud platform will enable it to deliver applications as services, increase application uptime, and better resolve problems.
