Campaign to protect UK's mental health

14th April 2009

A survey of 2,000 people in the UK by the Mental Health Foundation has discovered that 77% of respondents found the world "more frightening" than in 1999.

Mental Health Foundation chief executive Dr Andrew McCulloch said: "A mental health promotion campaign that shows individuals how to look after their own mental health would be of immense public benefit, and help prevent common mental health problems like anxiety and depression."
