CE appointed at East Sussex

21st July 2010

East Sussex Hospitals Trust has appointed Darren Grayson as its chief executive.

He takes up his post with immediate effect after taking on the role in an interim capacity on 1 April and replaces Kim Hodgson, who stepped down on 31 March after five years as chief executive of the trust and was credited with successfully tackling historic debts and performance issues. Mr Grayson has worked in the NHS for more than 20 years and was previously chief executive of NHS Brighton and Hove.
