Cerner for Lewisham

24th August 2012

Cerner has been selected as the preferred supplier of a new electronic patient record system for Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust.

It gives the company its first EPR contract win in the NHS since Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust signed a deal with University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre to deliver the Cerner Millennium system in mid-2009. Other bidders for the Lewisham deal included InterSystems and Cambio were the other two top bidders. Lewisham wants to deploy a core electronic patient record, with interfaces to the PAS systems.
