Cerner for St George's by Xmas

15th September 2009

Cerner Millennium is set to be in use at St George’s Hospital NHS Trust in South-West London by Christmas.

The implementation of the electronic patient record system, which will be provided by BT under the National Programme for IT in the NHS, will be via a phased deployment and will replace a previous iSoft patient administration system. The trust says the programme, known internally as the Integrated Clinical Information Programme (iCLIP), will help its staff to work more efficiently and to improve care for patients.
