Cerner goes live at Oxford

23rd November 2011

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust has gone live with Cerner Millennium.

The trust, one of three ‘greenfield’ sites scheduled to receive the system BT in a deal concluded in April last year as part of the National Programme for IT in the NHS, is now preparing for further roll-outs. The system was launched in the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the trust is planning to extend it to its remaining three hospital sites this weekend with the system being used initially for administration purposes.
