Chief exec appointed at Nottingham cluster

2nd November 2011

Derek Bray has been appointed chief executive of NHS Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County and will be the senior responsible officer for both PCT organisations, which clustered earlier this year.

Mr Bray has considerable experience of major change programmes as well as improving performance and quality and throughout his career has run four major NHS organisations, including the seventh largest PCT in England, NHS Derbyshire. He succeeds Andrew Kenworthy, who left in September to take on a role for NHS South East London.
