Chief executive at Leeds to leave post

Maggie Boyle's, chief executive of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, is to leave post next month.

Ms Boyle's departure comes after persistent performance problems and an investigation into mortality rates among children undergoing heart surgery.

The trust has said it will not comment on whether Ms Boyle resigned or was asked to leave.
