Child obesity linked to working mums

Working mothers are putting their children at a greater risk of obesity according to a new study. Children from the highest-earning homes, were the combined income is £33,000 or more, are at greater risk of obesity. Accoridng to study published in the International Journal of Obesity it is the lack of time and not the lack of money that is the most significant factor in childhood obesity.  The offsrping of mothers who work long hours have less access to healthy foods and physical activity.
