RSSChildren's nurses suspended
17th February 2012Four nurses and a healthcare support worker have been suspended from a children’s ward at Scunthorpe General Hospital after allegations were made that a baby was restrained.
Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust has started an inquiry and Humberside Police have confirmed they were also investigating the incident on the Disney Ward which caters for patients aged from a few days up to 16 years. The trust said it is keeping the family informed and is not commenting further on the allegations at this stage.
