Clairvia bought by Cerner

Cerner Corporation is to buy healthcare workforce management specialist Clairvia.

The IT giant says that the acquisition of Clairvia will expand its capabilities in healthcare workforce and resource management and cloud-based predictive algorithms with Clairvia’s software applications and predictive models said to enable healthcare organisations to align staff and resources with actual patient needs, in real-time.  Clairvia’s solutions are currently being used by more than 400 organisations across the globe, ranging in size from large health care systems to specialty physician practices.
