Clinical Solutions acquired by Capita

30th May 2012

Capita says it has bought the clinical decision support and product provider Clinical Solutions for £20 million.

Paul Pindar, chief executive of the company, said that buying Clinical Solutions "complements the existing work" of Capita and added: "This acquisition strengthens our ability to assist health services in driving down costs while providing quality patient care. It also gives us a data centre that already delivers a high volume and high availability service to the NHS."
