COIN for NW Ambulance Service

14th July 2009

A community of interest network (COIN) has been set up by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

The network will link 141 trusts in Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Phill James, assistant director at ICT modernisation, said: "Staff benefits include a consistent service across the region, enabling access to all business applications from all trust locations. Patient benefits include the ability to roll-out regional applications and services to all staff, no matter which part of the region they operate within."
