Computers and TV harm mental health

3rd February 2009

The second part of the Good Childhood Report for the Children's Society has warned that TV and computers are affecting children's mental health.

The report said children were affected by how long they spent watching TV and on computers.  "There is much evidence that exposure to violent images encourages aggressive behaviour. On television, violence is frequently shown as part of a normal human life," it said.
