Cornwall streamlines breast imaging system

5th July 2010

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust has integrated its breast screening workstations with the National Breast Screening Service.

Simon Bromage, unit manager at the Mermaid Centre, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, said: "The MammoReport workstations will allow us to create a more efficient service, giving flexibility to staff and making the best use of our breast imaging modalities. Having this technology in place will allow us to further improve our service to the patient, ensuring that we are delivering the best possible experience with the technology available."
