Dementia Friends information sessions launched

13th February 2013

People in England are now able to sign up to sessions to become a Dementia Friend.

More than 12,000 people have already registered their interest in becoming Dementia Friends and they can now attend information sessions to find out more about what it is like to live with dementia and then turn that understanding into action in their local community. Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer’s Society initiative that aims to give a million people a better understanding of dementia by 2015.
