DH appoints media agencies

21st December 2011

The Department of Health is set to streamline its approach to communications by appointing two media agencies to manage its public health awareness campaigns.

From the beginning of 2012, Freud Communications will manage PR for the DH’s public health campaigns, while MEC will manage media planning. The contracts follow a tender process and replace the DH’s previous approach of running single-issue campaigns supported by different agencies. The DH said that the new approach would also deliver savings of around 25%.
