Diagnostic waiting times lower

Patients are waiting just seven weeks for diagnostic tests, say new figures.

A new Government report revealing the waiting times for 15 of the most common tests, reveal the average wait is seven weeks.

The worst waiting times were for pure tone audiometry tests, with more than 60,000 patients in England waiting more than 26 weeks from referral.
