Directors appointed to NHS property company

Nine directors have been recruited to the independent property company the Department of Health is setting up to manage NHS estate.

Of the appointments announced to NHS Property Services Ltd, all nine currently work in the NHS with Simon Holden, currently finance director for NHS Cheshire, Warrington and Wirral primary care trust cluster, becoming chief executive. The company’s non-executive chairman is NHS South of England strategic health authority non-executive director Charles Howeson who also chairs the board of property investment firm Rowe Group.
