Drug advice for nightclubs

6th June 2008

Specialists are being called in to offer nightclubs advice on spotting the symptoms in someone who may have taken drugs and when to summon medical help.

The advice has been produced by doctors, police officers and bar owners and published in the journal Substance Abuse Treatment, Prevention and Policy for nightclubs to use and refer to. The aim is to improve the condition of clubbers affected by drugs before they reached hospital through the extra training and advice available to nightclub staff.
