Drug would have given us time

A widow from Shrewsbury has criticised NHS watchdog for  not providing the drug Alimta that could have extended her husband's life.  Colin Dyal was accepted on a six month trial of Alimta at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but when the trial ended Shropshire County PCT would  not fund the drug but offered a 'cocktail' of other cancer drugs at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
