Duchess in UK fat campaign

14th May 2008

The Duchess of York is aiming to work as a campaigner for healthy eating in the UK.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, who has spent much of the last 12 years living in the US, hopes to share some of her knowledge in battling weight problems and as a spokeswoman for WeightWatchers in the US. She has recently spent six months with a family on benefits for a TV documentary and fears the obesity crisis is so serious that Britain is now "eating itself to death".
