E coli outbreak probe at farm could take weeks15th September 2009
The Health Protection Agency has warned that the investigation into one of the biggest E coli outbreaks ever at a UK farm will take weeks.
It will focus on what led to such a large exposure to the bacterium after 36 cases – including 12 children - of E coli infection were linked to Godstone Farm in Surrey. Three are seriously ill in hospital.
