Emergency measles steps call

Health bosses in London have enforced emergency measures after a large increase in the number of cases of measles in the capital. 

NHS trusts have been told to offer the MMR jabs in "quick succession" in a bid to cut the number of cases. Over 200 cases were reported in south-east London from January to May. Lewisham PCT, which had high rates of the disease,  said through a spokesperson: "The disease is still spreading, particularly among school-age children."
