EMIS chief executive steps down

EMIS Group has named its chief administrative officer Chris Spencer as its interim chief executive after Sean Riddell announced that he was stepping down as chief executive.

Spencer will take up the post on 21 March on the retirement of Riddell, who has been with EMIS for 23 years but now plans to focus on family commitments. EMIS has said that Riddell will, however, remain on the board as a non-executive director to "ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and retention of his sector experience".
