Epilepsy awareness campaign

18th May 2006

An awareness campaign has been launched in north-east England by the charity Epilepsy Action. Patients are being encouraged to keep an epilepsy diary with a view to seeking a review with their GP.  The charity said that 3,500 people could be helped by the campaign; better treatment could mean fewer, less severe, or even no seizures.
