'Fat reports' for parents

28th July 2008

Parents will be sent reports by schools detailing how much their children weigh, according to the Independent on Sunday.

The newspaper has viewed government research which shows obesity is a major problem in the UK. Dr Sacher, a paediatric dietician, said: "If I was a parent I would want to know if my child was overweight or obese, then I could do something about it."
