Fears over DIY tests

Doctors and a charity have issued a warning about DIY health tests, which have enjoyed a recent rise in popularity.

The doctors and the Sense About Science charity said that tests were not always accurate and in some cases could actually damage health. The home testing industry is thought to be worth around £99m a year.
