Fertility call for cancer patients

A report from three medical royal colleges has called for NHS fertility treatment for cancer patients to improve.

The report said that many patients were not given help after receiving chemotherapy and other treatments which can affect fertility, due to "a lack of national policy". Dr Ben Mead, chair of the report, said: "It is time for action nationally to deal with this distressing problem."
