Finnamore Appoints Performance Management Experts11th May 2010
Specialist healthcare management consultancy Finnamore has appointed two experts in performance improvement to join its rapidly expanding team.
Will Fell has been appointed as a senior consultant at Finnamore’s Haddenham office for his expertise in service transformation in the public sector particularly in the area of Transforming Community Services (TCS) through the Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) agenda. Previously Will held senior consulting and management positions with Business Process Management (BPM) software and consulting organisations.
Fleur McPherson also joined Finnamore as a consultant, moving from multinational corporation Rio Tinto. She will advise clients on performance improvement strategy including lean programme management, efficiency improvement and change management.
Managing director, John Deverill, said: “This year, NHS managers are going to find that budget management is like painting the Forth Bridge - a never-ending task.
“No sooner have they started to cut spending, when the recession hits the public sector and they need to cut them even further, without a reduction in quality and whilst demand for services increases.
“The only way health authorities can possibly get ahead of the game is to implement real changes to streamline their organisation.
“We are confident that our recent appointments, with their public and private sector expertise in performance improvement, will give our clients the valuable insight and lean thinking they need to make substantial long term savings required of them.”
