First Children's minor injuries unit

Smithdown's Children's NSF Walk-in Centre in Liverpool has now been officially opened.  The first unit of its kind in the country the walk-in centre is specifically designed for the care of children aged 0-15 with minor injuries and ailments. 

It is managed by nurses working to advanced practitioner level and supported by a range of acute hospital clinicians.
