Four non-execs needed for MHRA

14th May 2012

The Department of Health is seeking to appoint four non-executive directors to the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The government agency is responsible for "ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe". According to the DH website, the "non-executive directors will have an important role in working with the chair and other members to contribute to the work of the board and, through the relevant officials, to offer appropriate advice to health ministers."
