With the reported fall of 28% in their numbers, the situation seem truly grave. Due to the extra hours they are asked to put-in, these Nurses must definitely be feeling exhausted and stressed. As they attend to the elderly at their own homes, the matter is all the more serious as the elderly patients may suffer and the authorities may not even come to know in time. This is an important department of the NHS and demands urgent attention by the authorities.
