FTN chief exec to stay until replacement found

9th November 2011

Foundation Trust Network chief executive Sue Slipman has agreed to stay in her post until the organisation finds a new full-time replacement.

While the FTN, which has more than 200 members and split from the NHS Confederation in June, has recently interviewed for a new chief executive, it has chosen not make an appointment and will now re-advertise the role. Ms Slipman initially said she would be standing down in April 2012 and intended to take on a “non-executive portfolio career” but will remain with the FTN until an appointment had been made.
