Games4Life to get nation moving

25th June 2012

A campaign by the Department of Health called Games4Life has been launched to encourage people to get and remain active before, during and after the London Olympics.

Research has shown that 93% of people intend to watch the coverage and 40% will drink alcohol while they watch. A fifth said they were planning on having a takeaway while watching and more than half said they would eat crisps. The Games4Life campaign wants people to fill in an activity check questionnaire so they can be sent an information pack about how to be more active.
