Got hay fever? Seek advice

A poll by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain has found that many people with hay fever endanger their health by not seeking medical help before treatment.

Nearly three-quarters - 75% of people in the YouGov poll - did not ask for their pharmacist's or doctor's help before they chose a treatment. "Pharmacists are highly trained health professionals and experts in medicines – they can play a significant role in the management of allergies including hay fever," RPSBG director of practice and quality development David Pruce said.
