GPs not prepared for flu pandemic

A risk survey has discovered that a over a third of GP surgeries are "unprepared" for an influenza pandemic.

The survey was carried out by Management in Practice. It showed that 38% of GP practices were not prepared for a major flu epidemic and one in 10 did not have any "emergency recovery plans" established.
