Health centre officially opens

A new health centre has officially opened in Birmingham's inner city.

Summerfield Primary Care Centre, on the corner of Heath Street and Winson Green Road in Winson Green is offering everything from GP surgeries to midwives, baby clinics and an asylum seekers' health team.

Ladywood MP Clare Short, Birmingham public health director Dr Jacky Chambers and Ann Pursey, chief executive of Birmingham and Solihull Local Improvement Finance Trust, attended the launch.
